In honour of Remembrance Day, we learned a new song by Céline Dion that I sang as a child called “Une colombe”. This song about a dove going on a journey around the world to spread the message of peace, love and friendship is symbolic of the important role our children will play in their future of peace on our planet. We also discussed how peace begins with small gestures at home and on the school yard. The following link is to the song and lyrics if you would like to share it with your child.
